Tall, stylish and driven: The story behind T FOR ALL with founder Mical Joseph

For Mical, it all began in her living room. “I was standing there in yet another pair of pants that were too short, and I thought: this can’t still be the norm in 2024,” she recalls. The very next day, she began sketching out ideas, and what started as a personal frustration quickly turned into a mission. “Every time I stepped into a fitting room, I had the same experience: pants just above the ankles. I was so done settling for trousers that didn’t suit my style. I thought, if no one else is going to fix this, I will. And that’s when the idea for T FOR ALL was born.”

From frustration to fashion brand

“My height, 1.80 meters, has always been a mix of pride and struggle,” Mical says. “Pants that were never long enough, people telling me I don’t need to wear heels, and the constant feeling that fashion for tall women is an afterthought.” With T FOR ALL, she set out to flip the script and create a brand where tall women don’t need to adapt, the clothes adapt to them.

The reactions to her idea were mixed. “Some people thought it was brilliant, others looked at me like I’d lost it: ‘Wait, is that really a problem?’” But when the first samples arrived and people saw the quality and style, the tide began to turn. “Especially other tall women, they instantly said, ‘Finally!’”

The start of T FOR ALL

After that moment in her living room, Mical got to work. She talked to other tall women, ran polls on Instagram, and gathered feedback through surveys. “Then I spent months searching for the right manufacturers, it had to be premium, sustainable, and truly tailored for long legs.” She brought in a close family friend to help with the designs, and meanwhile, she worked on the branding: the name, the logo, and how the brand would be positioned.

Developing the first collection was intense. “There was a lot of trial and error. The designer and I spent long nights trying to get everything right. In the beginning, the samples didn’t work for taller proportions, so we optimized every single centimeter.” Eventually, this led to a debut collection with three fits, followed by a second collection in 36” and 38” inseams. On November 27, 2024, T FOR ALL officially launched.

“Everything” was a challenge in those early days, Mical explains. “From production issues to logistical nightmares. I had to learn how to negotiate with manufacturers, manage lead times, analyze return rates… and that’s not even counting the work of building a brand in a crowded market. But every challenge made T FOR ALL stronger.”

The mission: celebrating height

T FOR ALL’s mission is crystal clear. “To me, celebrating height means owning it, not hiding it. No more compromises, no more hunching over in photos, no more buying pants that are ‘just okay.’ It’s a tribute to tall women everywhere. You’re allowed to stand out. You’re allowed to take up space, literally.”

Mical wants her brand to shift the narrative in fashion. “We want to normalize that brands take height into account, just like they do with sizing and skin tone. Tall women should no longer be the exception.” And it goes beyond just clothing. “T FOR ALL proves that fashion made for taller proportions can be stylish, flattering, and accessible.”

A pair of pants that actually fits

At T FOR ALL, it all starts with the fit. “We always begin with fit. Everything is about finding the right proportions for tall women.” Production takes place with a boutique manufacturer known for high-end tailoring. “Each pair of trousers is produced in small batches, with close attention to craftsmanship and detail.”

The fit isn’t guesswork, it’s based on continuous feedback. “We work with fit models between 1.78 and 1.92 meters, and we listen closely to our customers. Our inseam lengths are truly long, 36 and 38 inches, and we ensure the waist, hips, and knees fall exactly where they should.” What truly sets the trousers apart is that they’re not just stretched versions of standard pants. They’re specially designed for tall women. On top of that, T FOR ALL combines style with comfort and sustainability with luxurious fabrics. No compromises. No shortcuts. Just clothing that actually fits.

Sustainable and stylish

Sustainability is a core value for Mical. “I didn’t just want to make something that felt good to wear, I wanted it to feel good to buy. Small runs, mindful fabric choices, and zero overproduction, that’s our way of making fashion more fair and more responsible.”

T FOR ALL uses materials like linen, organic cotton, and innovative vegan leather. “That vegan leather is made from circular materials and is surprisingly supple and strong. It gives our trousers a unique look, and a great story.”

A community that finally feels seen

The typical T FOR ALL customer? “She’s stylish, confident, and often overlooked by the fashion industry. She values quality, seeks something different, and finally feels seen in our trousers.”

The responses have been deeply moving. “So much recognition and gratitude. From ‘Finally I found pants that fit without compromise’ to ‘I’ve never felt so stylish and comfortable at the same time.’ Some messages are emotional, like they feel truly seen for the first time.” One story especially touched Mical: “A woman wrote to say, ‘I’m 1.91 meters tall and have been hiding myself for years. When I put on your pants, I felt proud of my height for the first time.’ That’s exactly why I do this.”

The journey of entrepreneurship

Since launching T FOR ALL, Mical has learned a lot. “Entrepreneurship isn’t about having the perfect plan, it’s about pushing through. You learn as you go. Failing is part of it, but what matters is staying the course. And asking for help isn’t weakness, it’s strength.”

She draws inspiration from other women who’ve turned a niche into their power. “People who believe in something even when it doesn’t exist yet. And my mom, who always taught me to chase my dreams.”

Her advice for other women with a niche idea? “Just start. Talk to your audience. Test, fail, adjust. And make sure your story is strong, people don’t just buy a product, they buy a feeling. Build that feeling.”

Future plans: bigger, bolder, taller

In five years, Mical envisions T FOR ALL as the go-to international brand for tall women. “With a broader collection, our own store, or stores and a global community where height is something to be celebrated. And hopefully, you’ll see us in the big fashion campaigns too.”

Expansion is definitely on the horizon. “Think jackets, leggings, blouses. But always step by step, with the same care and focus we give to our trousers.”

And that community of tall women? It’s only growing. “By staying visible, collaborating with inspiring women, and sharing their stories. It’s about more than pants, it’s about belonging.”
